President & Creative Lead
Vinalley is a Vietnamese student association that promotes cultural appreciation and artistic dialogue through workshops, video podcasts, and other social media activities.
As the creative lead for Vinalley, my focus is on crafting a distinctive logo and club identity that encapsulates our mission and values. Drawing inspiration from Vietnamese culture and art, I aim to create a visually striking logo that resonates with our spirit.
Incorporating elements such as symbolic motifs, vibrant colors, and modern design aesthetics, the logo will serve as a powerful symbol of our commitment to cultural appreciation and artistic expression.
Inspired by Vietnamese alleys, we noticed how community life in our home country is filled with cooking aromas, coffee scents, and lively chatter, where blue and red plastic stools serve as silent companions, integral to our daily routine.
At that point of the meeting, we came to agree with the idea of plastic stools as our centered symbol. “Why not just be who we are and do things our way?”
It’s cool to see Vietnamese international students and Vietnamese Canadians have a seat and connect through art dialogues and creative projects to promote our shared culture.
